Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls (Non-GMO Recipe)

If you’ve been following this Immaculate Baking blog for a little while, you’ll notice that my mind wanders a lot. Guess that’s just what a delicious high-carb diet will do to you – Food delirium. But every time I come across a genius recipe, and I try it out, and all the flavors and textures and ingredients all mingle and explode and come together in perfect harmony in the very first bite, it always leaves me slightly perplexed and very much in awe of the creative minds who dreamed up the flavor pairings. I just can’t help but wonder, how did they come up with THAT? And why didn’t I think of it first?

Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll is one such example.

I mean, our Cinnamon Rolls are pretty amazing all by themselves (if I do say so myself), but to think that you can do something this easy to make it even more amazing, well, like I said, I am in awe.

You Will Need:

Rolls
5 tablespoons canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 can Immaculate Baking Co. ® refrigerated Cinnamon Rolls with icing
Pumpkin Icing
Icing from cinnamon rolls
1 teaspoon canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Pumpkin pie spice

Here’s how to get the dough rolling:

1. Heat oven to 350°F.
2. In small bowl, mix 5 tablespoons pumpkin and 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice until well blended. Unroll cinnamon roll dough on cooking parchment paper; spread pumpkin over dough. Set icing aside for step 4. Reroll dough; separate into 5 rolls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

3. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan to cooling rack; cool slightly, about 5 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix icing, 1 teaspoon pumpkin and 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice; drizzle or spread on rolls. Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice.
