I’ve always been curious about however whenever did it come to be that ham is the protein of choice at Easter. But if we’re going to have brunch AND we’re going to serve, I figured we should do it in a fun, easy and yummy way! And so I give you Loaded Potato Quiche! Just layering on all your favorite ingredients like ham, hashbrown, cheddar cheese and bacon. Oh my word, what is there not to love!!!
So. Obviously Immaculate Baking is all about natural, wholesome, non-GMO ingredients. And our fans constantly remind us of that especially when we share recipes that uses food coloring. I think it’s important to point out that there are natural food coloring, but I know, they can be ridiculously expensive. So what could The Queen possibly make in celebration of St. Patty’s Day that will stand out in a sea of recipes with neon green food coloring?
That’s when I found this awesome Lucky Spinach Quiche recipe!
Yes, I admit, ever since we launched our line of flour and scratch baking dessert and cookie mixes, I’ve been a little too eager to experiment with a ton of chocolatey, fruity, or just through and through deliciously sweet recipes. I figured it’s time to change gears for the savory, after all, we can’t serve dessert until the main course has been gobbled up!
I told ya I was on a bacon roll.
I knew I wanted to try more bacon recipes, but I also wanted to make sure that these were recipes that had a good veggie pairing. I’m not even going to go into all that shpill about how it will balance out the nutrition and that it’s better for you yadiyada, because all of that is true, and people should be eating their veggies for all those reasons, but more importantly, I want bacon recipes with the right veggie pairings because I honestly think that it’ll make everything taste so much yummier. And so I give you Bacon & Spinach Quiche Cups!
Okay, so I have to come clean: I like to be very liberal with my measurements when it comes to baking, especially where it involves ingredients that I think no one would object to having more of. Like bacon. Especially bacon. So I’d pile on the yumminess. Along with cheese. Yep, I’ve been known to get a little bit carried away with the cheese. Hence the overflowing Bacon Quiche Cups that I ended up with. But hey, like I said, I’ve never gotten any complaints. So there.

I’m a HUGE fan of brunch. Eggs benedict, soufflé pancakes, egg white omelettes, cinnamon rolls and quiche. So I guess I kind of lucked out that I blog and bake for a refrigerated dough brand that makes biscuits and cinnamon rolls and whadaya know, pie crust! I foresee many, many quiches in my future! Hmmm I think I’m in the mood for a brunch quiche with some Mexican flare!
